Artistic Storytelling for Youth Photographers
Recommended for ages 11-17
My goal is to encourage aspiring photographers and help them build and grow their photography tool belts by holding classes that focus on camera basics, components of storytelling, and editing in fun ways. I love capturing images that tell a story from my perspective and then letting my creative juices flow while editing it. I find joy in guiding others to finding their unique voices, discover their own artistic viewpoints, and develop relationships that foster growth and learning.

No prior experience with Lightroom or manual photography is necessary. You can use these skills whether you are a beginner or a novice, and they can be applied to other photo editing software programs and apps as well.
Artistic Storytelling & Lightroom for Adults
Recommended for ages 18+
Learn to transform your images into vivid, colorful stories by adding a storytelling element to your photography, followed by an example edit in Adobe Lightroom Classic! We will meet over Zoom. After introductions, we will discuss the key components of storytelling and how to integrate these components into your photography as you build your unique style. I will then use the photo editing software, Adobe Lightroom Classic, to turn an image of children surrounding an indoor Christmas tree into a creative work of art. You can apply the skills you will learn to any image, whether taken with a cell phone or a DSLR camera.
